Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy(BFST®) Wraps are electrical medical devices that work using our proprietary Energy Web®. Heating Pads are Not the Same as BFST® Wraps
Heating pads are only consumer grade products, not high quality medical devices like BFST® Wraps. Heating pads also don't have the amazing therapeutic benefits that BFST® Wraps have. Heating pads can't heal soft tissue injuries. BFST® Wraps can. Heating pads draw blood to the surface of your skin and make it hot to the touch. This does nothing to heal the damaged tissue deep beneath your skin. BFST® devices stimulate blood flow deep below your skin to actively heal soft tissue damage. You can't do this by heating the surface of your skin with a heating pad. BFST® treatments promote healthy blood flow to the area of your injury to create an ideal environment for healing. Heating pads can't do this.
BFST® treatments are very pleasant and relaxing. You will not feel any vibrating, shocks, pain or discomfort from BFST® treatments.
BFST® treatments are not designed to produce a lot of surface heat. Again, this is not a heating pad. The treatments are designed to heal your injury or condition. You may feel a very slight warming sensation and/or a tingling sensation as a result of the increase in blood flow, as well as a small amount of surface heat from the Energy Web®. The more BFST® treatments you do, the less warmth you will feel. This is good. As the warmth lessens from treatment to treatment, this is an indication that the circulation in the injured area is improving.
